#CHDAwareness
Undetected, Congenital Heart Defects (CHD's) can be a silent killer. They cannot be cured, but detecting, monitoring and treating Congenital Heart Defects (CHD's) at the earliest possible stage can help save life.

Most CHD patients will need open heart surgeries, some may even need a heart transplant. Babies born with CHD's may need their first open heart surgery at just a few hours or days old.

It has been estimated that there are currently 250,000 adults with CHD's in the UK.

Various procedures are used to help repair the heart to prevent the need for surgery, but not enough is being done in the UK to raise awareness of heart problems. Awareness is the key for hope and survival for sufferers and their families.

UNDERU.com is supporting this year's CHD Awareness Week.

We will donate 5% of all sales to the end of Sunday night to The Brompton Fountain (reg'd charity: 1110339), a charity that supports those families whose children are suffering from CHD's under the care of The Royal Brompton and Harefield NHS Hospitals.
