With a background spent in British tailoring, on Jermyn Street, London, founder Pete McGuinness wanted to a create a British brand that brought the finest bespoke men's underwear to the marketplace. Drake & Hutch underwear was 2 years in development, and finally came to the market in late 2015. In the period since, customer feedback has been very strong and Drake & Hutch underwear is now sold in more than 10 countries worldwide.
Drake & Hutch underwear and Drake & Hutch Boxers are made with the same attention to detail that you would find on a bespoke suit. The process starts with creating the perfect "block" on which the underwear fit is designed. This fit is unique to Drake & Hutch, providing greater support to the wearer and preventing garment rise. The designs are created in the Manchester studio in England, in collaboration with Jermyn Street tailors. The finest materials are then sourced from artisan fabric mills, whether that is long staple cotton from Egypt or pima cotton from cotton growers in America, before being hand-stitched and packaging in either Portugal or Italy.
